It’s a damn shame that this site appears to be down, because I’d love to see more of these fantastical but actually working remote controlled steam-powered models. I’ve built more than my share of electronic RC models, and recently took a ride on a tiny steam-powered train, so I can fathom the trickery required to get these things working together.

I imagine the guy must use fairly grunty servos to work the various valves required to operate the models. Designing and building the linkages and getting the servos in the right places would have been fun, to say the least.
