It’s not often that my heart races when I read a blog post, but this one did it for me. Good old Valve have announced a pre-purchase deal for the the Orange Box (Half Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal). The deal includes 10% off the $50 price, plus the biggie: access to the TF2 beta from September 17th.

Goddamn I’m so excited. Spore and TF2 have been the only games on my must-play list for the past year or so, and being this close to TF2 is almost too much to handle.
