I saw quite a nifty accessory on a colleagues iPhone today, a lightweight hardshell protector case with an integrated battery.
Not sure now if it was the Mili Powerskin:

or the Mophie Juice Pack Air

..but quite a cool solution to the fact that the iPhone has a non-removable integrated battery. I had no idea you could make batteries that thin!
Also pleased to note it gives you a standard micro-USB port out.
It's friggin rediculous how Apple arbitrarily change their dock connector suddenly and without warning.
We have a 3rd Gen Ipod, an Ipod Mini and a 5th Gen Nano in the family, and do you think they will all charge off the same cable? (To say nothing of expensive accessories like the iBass sound dock)
What's the bet they change it again for HDMI out with the Iphone 4?
Why they can't use standard plugs escapes me. A micro usb and a micro HDMI together take up less room than a dock connector!
