Meh!
If a holster is good enough for a .357 magnum, it’s ok for a smartphone!

I’d rather have my phone on me than in a bag somewhere.

As to camera bags, I tend to be a backpack kinda guy.

My favourite camera bag so far is my Lowepro Fastpack 200

Interesting idea. How intrusive is the alarm? I can imagine the number of false alarms (e.g. walking away from your desk during the day) could be quite high to start off with.

@parsley It’s fairly intrusive. Intrusive enough for most of the open plan office to grumble when I was testing it.

Oh, I love the company name: MI5 Tech. Because the MI5 over here (UK) has a habit of leaving stuff like USB keys and laptops with unencrypted data on trains, in rental cars, on the roof of the car etc.
