Posted by unregistered user:

I bought a 4GB memory stick a couple of months ago and its was working great until yesterday. When I tried to open it, it told me it needed reformatting but reformatting would wipe all the data. I cannot open it and would really like to be able to access the files. I have been told that it is possible to get around this but the guy who said that can't remeber how. Any hints or ideas?
