Apple Refreshes MacBook Lines

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

Today Apple has announced a complete refresh of all of their notebooks: the Air, the MacBook Pro and the MacBook. The Air gets an incremental feature upgrade, and the MacBook and MacBook Pro get a whole new look, a new multitouch glass trackpad, and a bevvy of tech upgrades.

The new look of the MacBooks brings the display into line with the iMac look, and also adds the curves of the MacBook Air (although obviously not the thinness).

The feature upgrades are primarily based on the new Nvidia 6400M chipset with integrated graphics. The other features (CPU, RAM, HDD) get a bump in speed and size, and the MacBooks now come with the option of a 128GB SSD hard drive.

You can get the full detail at Apple for the MacBook and MacBook Pro.
