That’s it.  I give up.  I try to blog, honestly I do.  But when someone like Stephen Fry comes along with a 10,000 word opening post about one’s own all-consuming passion, it all gets a bit much.  How am I supposed to compete with a literary giant like Mr Fry?  It would be bad enough if he’d done some excellent research into the history and evolution of smart phones and published a convoluted but dispassionate article, but to just reel it all off from the top of his head, proving himself to be a giant geek, is truly a killing blow.

I might endeavour to carry on, but don’t expect me to compete with that crap.  Who does he think he is?  A blogger or something?
