I kept it to myself when I switched from Firefox back to Internet Explorer on Vista. It’s just not the done thing in my circles to say you use IE. Firefox was running horribly on Vista for me. Regularly crashing, and always stalling a few seconds after startup for about 20 seconds. Always, as in every single time I launched a Firefox process, I could guarantee a freeze-up for 20 seconds.
Now it seems I’m not alone. Most of those people are complaining about FF2 on Mac, but there are a fair scattering of Vista users in the mix too. I’d love to Digg this or something so we can get a true measure of how bad the situation is.

Funny, works fine for me in Ubuntu 7.04…are you sure the browser is the problem
I too use Ubuntu 7.04 and I’m reaching my wits end with Firefox – Firefox on XP Pro – perfect.
