Stages of Pregnancy

Thursday, September 21st, 2006

After observing 1.25 pregnancies, I reckon we should revoke the established tradition of ‘trimesters’ and replace it with the following 4 stages:

  1. Sick sick sick
  2. Incredibly dead tired
  3. Manageable with strategic pillow placement
  4. Get this damn thing out of here!!

Thoughts?

Ha ha. That’s gold. We’re on 4th at the moment. Should adopt this worldwide!

  2. Ben says:

Yup my wife is midway between 1 and 2 at the moment, second time around. Unsure if it’s better or worse knowing now what we’re in for…

  3. Stu says:

Well, definately better for you, case you can avert crises based on previous experience, but probably worse for wifey, because she knows the pain that’s on it’s way.

  4. Congratulations!

My wife agrees with you. That’s why 2 is enough.

  5. Ben says:

Yeah thanks! Fingers crossed for a girl, that way there’s no pressure to go through the madness again.

I heard a comedian say that he always chuckled about the big manly guys in the supermarket with three daughters, and thought to himself “you just had to try again didn’t you?”

  6. Congratulations!

My wife agrees with you. That’s why 2 is enough.

  7. JC says:

Well done Ben you ol’ dog you! Why not tell the Funkers?

  8. I admit that to be pregnant is not the funniest thing but those pregnancy pillows can save your life and help you get some sleep.
