Test post from Writely

Google has just opened up Writely to public beta. It seems pretty cool. Among the many features (collaboration, export to PDF, tagging, etc) is the ability to post a document as a blog post. I’m doing that right…. now!
And now I’m editing the post in Wordpress because it didn’t have a title when posted from Writely. Damn betas.
Otherwise, Writely looks very, very slick. With Writely and Google spreadsheets, it’s hard to see why I’d bother buying/installing Office on any new PCs.
Popularity: 1% [?]
It’s the collaborative authoring that struck me as being the most useful.
Particularly for blogging.
Google vs. Microsoft
It just got that little bit more interesting, hehe.
