Ok, so how about this as a starting point then? Thoughts? Good, bad otherwise?

Update: It looks very crap in Internet Explorer. The bar at right is meant to be two columns. Blech. Get Firefox. I’m already kinda hating the layout because it is too similar to the default wordpress.
Use the theme switcher at the top of the sidebar to switch to the old theme (and back).

Update 2: OK switching back to the old layout. You can check out the test layout using the theme switcher.
