Google PC

Wednesday, January 4th, 2006

Starting the year off with a bang, the LA Times has come out with a doozy of a rumour: the Google PC. “Sources” apparently tell them that Google and Wal-Mart are chatting over the possibility of selling a Microsoft-less PC for “a couple of hundred dollars”.

The timing is right for a CES announcement, but as others have mentioned, this is at the same level of hype as the Sun-Google non-announcement, so I’m not about to go all gooey yet.

Update: Ah ok. No.
