New Nokia Phones

Friday, October 14th, 2005

Nokia E61Nokia has unveiled three new Series 60 smart phones:

  • The E61 (pictured). It has 75 MB(!) of built-in memory and a miniSD slot for additional storage. It also has built in WiFi and Bluetooth. Stacked! Despite this, the E61 is only 14mm thick, and is looking like a fairly well executed Treo/Motorola Q killer.
  • The regular candybar E60 with 30MB of internal memory.
  • The flip-open E70. This looks like a regular candybar phone, but does the over-the-screen flip thing to reveal a qwerty keyboard. Internals are similar to the E61, including the WiFi, which is pretty remarkable for such a tiny candybar phone.
