Moto ROKR and iPod Nano

Thursday, September 8th, 2005

iPod NanoThe new Motorola ROKR is indeed a lukewarm modification on the existing E398. Hell, I just listened to a podcast on my E398 yesterday – does that make me one of the ROKR crowd? Suffice to say I’m stunningly unimpressed with this “ultimate convergence of mobile communications and music”. Surely they could have jammed at least a gig in there!?

The iPod nano is (according to Gizmodo):

a Shuffle/Mini hybrid with a 2GB ($199) and 4GB ($249) capacity. Thinner than a no. 2 pencil. Color screen.

And the big news? The headphone socket on the Nano is on the bottom.
