I’m the first person to scoff at audiophiles who claim superior sound from $20,000 turntables and 6-figure amplifiers with fridge-sized isolating power transformers. Despite this, the photo below sends chills down my spine. I mean who gives a toss how it sounds? The thing is an asthetic Everest.

I bought one of these in Tokyo and carried it all the way home as hand luggage hoping it would fit into my new Mini Cooper S, when the car arrived imagine my disppointment to find it is too big. This wonderful item now sits in it’s box up in my attic awaiting suitable future use one day . . . . . .
