Build Your Own Robot Ninja

Thursday, September 2nd, 2004

Yes, for only US$1645 plus shipping, you too can build a robot capable of totally flipping out and cutting off the heads of other robots. The KHR-1 comes complete with 17 digital servos and two control boards.

Forget the Robosapien, here is the real deal. Sozbots exclusively sells a “fighting” Robot Kit from Japan called Kondo KHR-1. This robot is for instance used in the Robo-One Robot Fighting Tournaments.

The Kondo KHR-1 Robot is 34cm high and weighs 1.2kg. The Robot comes unassembled in a box full of little parts and servos. The control unit of the Kondo KHR-1 communicates via RS-232 cable with a PC.
