GadgetMadness reviews a Green Laser Pointer

Friday, July 9th, 2004

lasersThe title sounds very unexciting, but the dudes at GadgetMadness have written up a fun review of ThinkGeek‘s sinfully powerful green laser pointer.

As you can see in the video, the results were EXCELLENT. The green dot was clearly visible from over a mile away. The green beam was also clearly visible in the dark, even though it did not show up on the distance experiment video. The dot on the water tower is larger than you would expect, and this is caused by dispersion of the beam over distance. We are confident that we could light up a target even farther away than the one we found.
