Dodgeyness

OK, I’ve finally found a phlogging service that can deal with the seven layers of crap that Telecom (or Hyundai, or whoever), puts around the images when I send them from my new phone.

Problem is that (errr following link probably not safe for work…) Mobog is not entirely savoury. Created by ‘Pud’ of FuckedCompany fame, it tends to attract the kind of crowd that likes to post pictures of (for god knows what reason) their genitals. They also tend to post derogatory comments on any new images. I’ll try to keep an eye on that and delete the worst of them. And hey this is the web after all… just one big dysfunctional family.

For all of that, it is actually a darn good system. The photos at right are created by a single line of script, and all the photos are stored on their servers, saving me hosting space.

Thankfully also there are occasionally some normal photos, and the occasional peaceful protest. I can’t find it now, but one of the most popular pictures was of a guy holding a protest banner saying simply: “No More Wang”. Well said that man.

I just feel sorry for the poor innocent cell phones that have to witness such sordid scenes in bedrooms all across the globe.

I’m guessing that it’s more to do with the fact that the internet is available to so many people that ‘perfectly normal’ extends a loooong way across the middle of the bell curve?

Or is it the nifty Zoom feature under the View menu? You know, like photocopying your bottom on the office copy machine, at 121%?

What is it about the Internet that makes perfectly normal looking people want to post photos of their genitals on it?
